Technical Review on Three operating systems Windows, Linux and Mac OS

First, Windows, Linux, Apple's Mac OS, and even UNIX, the ancestor of operating systems, were all originally written in C.
UNIX was born in the late 1960s, Windows in the mid-1980s, Linux in the early 1990s, and Mac OS around the same time as Linux. You could say that UNIX was the "big Brother" of operating systems, and later Windows, Linux, and Mac OS all referred to UNIX. As for the differences between these three systems, I will analyze them from five aspects.

1. Free and charged
Linux is free, Windows and Mac OS are paid, and anyone who buys a Windows and Mac OS computer already pays Microsoft and Apple.

2. Software and support
Windows runs most of the software, plays 99.999% of the games, and is nearly 100% supported by hardware manufacturers. The amount of software that can be run directly on Linux and Mac OS is the difference between 1 and 99 compared with Windows, and Linux and Mac OS are expecting more support from hardware vendors.

3. Safety
Many people say that Linux security is high, but that's a matter of opinion. Actually I think this isn't necessary to discuss, when Linux popularity reached the extent of the Windows, Linux vulnerabilities, viruses, trojans, backdoors up what will definitely have sprung up, though not say than Windows is serious, but never less than win, because now Linux users too little and too little attention also to make it a virus, you certainly hope that their work to the more widespread, the better (now the virus are more likely to obtain illegal interests, such as account passwords), so the virus now won't consider minority Linuxer. Apple's Mac OS system, due to some of its own technology to do a good job of sealing, so there is almost no virus can break the Mac system.

4. The open source
Open source refers to the external open source code of software. Linux is currently the only one of the three systems that is open source, which means that it has more possibilities for development and can be more enjoyable for programmers who like to develop operating systems.

5. Usage habits
There is no big difference between Windows and Linux in terms of desktop, icon, mouse click, etc. The difference is that Windows abandons DOS character mode and focuses on graphical interface, making the desktop system easier to use. Linux character mode works better, and the graphical interface is still a sideshow, not a necessity. Mac OS, on the other hand, innovates its own beautiful flat interface and some very convenient operation modes different from Windows, which is also the reason why some people like Mac OS very much.
In a word, these three mainstream systems have their own advantages and disadvantages, but each system is created by programmers who have spent a lot of energy, and they are constantly improving. I believe that in the future, operating systems will have more comprehensive functions, more elegant interfaces and more convenient user experience.
