This paper compares three kinds of operating systems: Windows operating system, Linux operating system and Mac OS .
Let's start with the window operating system. Windows is the most widely used operating system nowadays. It uses the graphical mode GUI, which is more humanized than the previous DOS. With the continuous upgrade of computer hardware and software, Microsoft's Windows is also upgrading, from the 16 bit architecture, 32 bit to 64, and the system version from the original Windows 1 to the familiar Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8. Indows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows Server server enterprise operating system, continuously updated, Microsoft has been working on the development and improvement of the Windows operating system.
Then the Linux operating system. Linux is a free and free spread like Unix operating system, a multi - user, multi - task, multi - thread, and multi - CPU operating system based on POSIX and UNIX. It can run the main UNIX tools, applications and network protocols. It supports 32 - bit and 64 - bit hardware. Linux inherits the design idea of Unix based on network, and is a stable multi-user network operating system. Strictly speaking, the word Linux itself represents only the Linux kernel, but in fact, people are used to using Linux to describe the entire Linux kernel, and the operating systems of various tools and databases that are used in GNU engineering.
The last is Mac OS. The Mac system is a graphical operation system based on the Unix kernel; in general, the operating system that can not be installed on ordinary PC. Mac OS is an operating system running on apple Macintosh series computers. Mac OS is the first graphical user interface operating system in the field of business. The latest version of the system is OS X 10.12, and there are also Mac systems running on PC, or Mac PC.
In general, the difference between the three operating systems is quite different.
