Describe the most fantastic input and output devices in the near future.

In the 1870s,Christopher Lantham Sholes invented the QWERTY keyboard. He wouldn't have thought of his basic philosophy, which lasted 150 years, and until the digital age. The tech world is changing rapidly. Computer keyboards have been the undisputed king of input devices from the start.

Fantasizing about a future in which brain waves and chips can be transmitted directly, and the sci-fi smell of semi-cyborg comes on the horizon. Research on BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) technology dates back nearly 50 years, but recently developments have taken it out of the lab. For example, NeuroSky's EEG biosensor allows users to trigger computer interactions simply by wanting to do so.

Smart glasses are perhaps the most promising wearable input device because they are close to our main sensory organ-the eye, which offers many possibilities for development. Most smart glasses use OHMD (optical head-mounted display) technology, which can project sub-mother images into front of the eyes, and combined with other input methods such as voice command system used in Google Glass, OHMD can provide a real mobile viewing experience. Companies such as Sweden's Tobii have used eyeball tracking systems as input device solutions. This system can be used to execute commands by tracking eye movements and determining the direction of eye contact. There are traditional workstations, cars and even video games.

The US creative team Air Type has developed a virtual keyboard, which is still in its early prototype stage, using a set of sensors around the hand to track finger movements as they enter. The user can type on any plane or without the plane, and the sensor can learn from the user undefined specific input habits. This keyboard can also provide dynamic correction and word prediction help.

Projection keyboards usually combine laser devices, sensors and infrared beams to replicate a traditional QWERTY keyboard on a flat surface, that is, to project a virtual keyboard onto a surface. The aim is to provide a virtual full-scale keyboard for mobile devices to overcome physical constraints and improve portability. The technique can also be used to project pianos. Last year, Japan introduced a projection keyboard based on R2-D2 robots in Star Wars, which applied the concept to the extreme.
