Describe one type of secondary devices in detail.
I choose to describe the compact disc recordable.
Simply, non-erasable CD-ROM can only be used once and cannot be written multiple times. So, the advantage of erasable optical discs relative to other optical discs is that they can erase data and use CD again after burning.
Theoretical erasure times can be up to 1000 times, but due to external factors such as storage environment and wear degree, the actual eras ability will not be as many as 1000 times.
The common types of recordable CD include CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, and BD-ROM are common.
For this type of disc, the capacity will decrease as you use it.
