My answer is consisitent with my answer to Question 1 (which is releasing the information for other purposes is not ethical and volunteers should be turned to instead). I don't think a university should be allowed to release information about students at any extent, except when cooperating with the police. Addresses must not be released especially. Grade distributions without identifying the students is OK, though not advocated(by me), I'm still open to it.
