In my opinion, information about students is private. A university collects these information because it needs. Once the information about names and addresses is released, it may cause some swindles or kidnapping. Students will be in danger. If the information about grade distributions is released, the self-respect of a student maybe hurt. In this way, a university is allowed to release information only when getting admission of students and use it properly.
