Computer Science focuses on the basics of computers, including algorithms, computer logic, programming languages, computer theory, artificial intelligence, and hardware design.Computer science tends to pay more attention to personal abilities and will deal more with databases, systems, and compilers.
Software Engineering focuses on technical and management leadership training in large, complex systems. During this period, you will learn the basics of engineering and apply the technical knowledge of engineering to the upgrading of IT technology. Software engineering is to use a lot of theoretical knowledge to judge the success of a project, and to arrange specific details for a project, such as budget, time, feasibility and so on.
In addition, Computer science will involve some mathematical knowledge and more logical knowledge. However, Software Engineering has significantly less mathematics and more management knowledge.
