Cornell History: Leafy enclave April 07, 1866 Charles H. Blood, Class of 1888, L.L.B. 1890, is born. He was a co-founder of the Cayuga Heights residential area, purchasing the land and hiring a landscape architect to design a village for “cultured families.” Blood was district attorney, a local bank president and a 25-year Cornell trustee.
