Cornell History: Paris exhibit November 10, 1899 Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Thomas F. Crane oversees the arrangements for Cornell’s share in the U.S. educational exhibit at the Paris exposition of 1900, according to the Cornell Alumni News. Cornell’s exhibit at the world’s fair consisted mainly of charts and photographs, showing the growth and resources of the university as a whole, and particularly of the Colleges of Architecture, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, and the Department of Education.
