Navigation Area   European funding for four ETH professors 27.04.2016 | Four researchers from ETH Zurich have been awarded the prestigious ERC Advanced Grants. Over the next five years, their projects will receive about CHF 12.7 million in funding from the European Research Council. The ERC Advanced Grants are among the most coveted awards in the European Research Area, as only projects from established researchers are supported by the European Research Council (ERC). Successful applicants receive significant financial support in addition to reputational honour. The approved projects will receive somewhere between CHF 2.2 million and CHF 3.8 million over a period of five years.
