Hayes and James F. Woodward—have been elected into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. The professors, both teaching within Pitt’s Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, are part of the Academy’s 236th annual class, which will be formally inducted next fall.
