UT Austin Ranks No. 25 Globally for Science in Latest Nature Index April 20, 2016 AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas at Austin ranked No. 25 in the world among academic institutions for publication of scientific research, according to the latest annual report from the Nature Index.  UT Austin ranked No. 16 among all U.S. universities and No. 7 among U.S. public universities. The Nature Index also evaluates productivity of the top global institutions in four specialty subject areas.
